I am watching this USL match b/w Montreal and Portland on their new grass pitch in just opened Saputo Stadium.

Why didn't BMO Field have a natural turf surface? Is it due to multi-purpose usage? I know there are proposals to expand the facility should the Argos move in some time in the future.

Impact disappt. start to the season, btw.

shots were something like 21-8 for MTL. Corners 9-0. Too many injuries; side will be better as corps get healthy. Don't forget, you are allowed five subs in the USL. Teams with depth (like MTL) usually crest in July / August.
